In order for all voices to be valued in society, equity and inclusion must be incorporated into systems, organizations, and the ways in which we approach social change. Inclusive participatory processes are the foundation to equity.

Collaborative Governance
All Voices support organizations who want to incorporate inclusive practices within their work environments. Unintentionally, our work environments can promote unwanted oppressive practices that devalue certain voices and do not allow for shared decision making.
Promoting collaborative governance is a values-based alternative that harnesses everyone’s ability to lead, envision and contribute to the organization as a whole. It serves as a practice to promote mutual empowerment, creating a space for discovery, innovation and shared leadership. It emphasizes collaborative decision making, which can relieve burdened executives by utilizing the collective knowledge of all employees and also inspire employees to take more ownership of their work and their role in the organization. We take a personalized approach to supporting an organization transition or enhance their collected leadership. Learn more about our approach to collective leadership.

Educational Workshops Promoting Inclusion
All Voices offers a variety of workshops that support inclusive and participatory practices within groups and organizations.
Meeting Engineering Meeting Engineering is a training that provides leaders with the skills to move groups from talk to action around a shared result. It combines results-based facilitation (RBF) skills with an adaptive leadership framework and knowledge around emotional intelligence to enhance people’s ability to be effective in meetings. They can use these skills as both a neutral facilitator and as a participant to structure conversations and walk away with action commitments and accountability for the work at hand. Meeting Engineering ultimately supports groups to value collective knowledge and ensure every voice can be heard in a conversation. Social Empathy Training Social empathy is the ability to read and understand the feelings and actions of others, while also taking into account the historical context of different groups in society. Social Empathy Training seeks to expand the definition of empathy beyond interpersonal aspects of perspective taking and leads us to consider the structural disparities that people as members of different groups experience. We promote this concept to help people better understand that connection is more than just about feelings, but also involves understanding the systemic factors in society. Learn more about social empathy. Mindfulness and Social Change Working with others can be challenging. It is important to have a strong sense of self awareness to regulate difficult emotions and manage stress. Mindfulness and Social Change is a program that offers groups the opportunity to learn about how mindfulness can serve as a tool to enhance their personal well-being and also learn about themselves and their interactions with others. |
Diarist Documentation
Social change often takes an unpredictable path due the complexity that exists among interacting systems, individual factors, and unexpected events that occur while implementing a particular initiative. Utilizing a Diarist throughout the implementation of a program or project can serve as a way to capture lessons and insights to adapt in real time or inform future work. Diarist work involves documenting observations and activities throughout a project period or after, with the intention of providing a product such as a timeline of activities, evaluation summary or organizational guidebook. Learn more about the roles a Diarist can play to help your organization.
